2012 Patient Symposium, Running for Answers Run/Walk October 20th and 21st in Philadelphia PA
Learn about the latest research and current treatment options from the experts! The sixth annual Patient Symposium will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown on Saturday, October 20th from 1:30pm-6:00 pm. The Symposium will be followed on Sunday by our third annual Philadelphia Running for Answers Run/Walk at beautiful Fairmount Park by the Please Touch Museum details

Lap 4 Life is a non- profit organization created to raise money and awareness for Desmoid Tumors and Organ Transplant Research.Intestinal transplant currently offers the only hope of survival for patients with intestinal failure who are dependent on and often do not tolerate intravenous nutrition. While it is no longer considered experimental, intestinal transplantation continues to be very expensive and risky therapy with a need for life-long immunosuppression. Ongoing research has improved the outcomes significantly. There is a desperate need for continued research both into the biology and treatment of desmoid tumors and into intestinal transplantation.
All Proceeds will benefit the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation and New York Organ Donor Network.
2012 TIRE RACK ONE LAP
OF AMERICA
 FirstGear Garage will be entering the 2012 TIRE RACK ONE LAP
OF AMERICA (a.k.a. Cannball Run). It’s the toughest 8 days of
racing featuring the fastest street-legal cars on America’s most
challenging racetracks! It covers 3,184 road miles, 9 states,
8 tracks, all in 8 days! May 5th - 12th. This annual race brings
some 80 drivers from all over the nation to compete.
FirstGear’s sponsor charity is the Desmoid Tumor Research
Foundation. All money raised, both individual and corporate,
will go directing to the foundation
for research. Desmoid tumors are
benign and not malignant, but
are aggressive growing in nature,
causing them to be fatal. There is
no know cure for Desmoids. Driver

Desmoids for 13 years. There is a
